Michelle Price CEO AustCyber - Australian Cyber Security Growth Network

The Australian Cyber Security Growth Network Ltd (ACSGN) was established by the Australian Government to support the growth of a vibrant and globally competitive Australian cybersecurity sector.

Prior to joining ACSGN, Michelle was the first Senior Adviser Cyber Security at the ANU National Security College, where she established an integrated approach to the College’s cybersecurity program across education and policy engagement.

Gus Balbontin - CTO of Lonely Planet

Gus is involved in the start up scene as a founder, investor and advisor. He currently runs a small boutique design and innovation agency called Roshambo and is the Entrepreneur in Residence at Victoria University which keeps him close to large public corporate challenges as well as small business puzzles.

Brad Parsons - CEO Movus

Brad is the CEO and Founder of MOVUS. Brad spent 25 years in corporate career which spanned national and global positions.

MOVUS has been successfully growing thanks to their core product, the ‘FitMachine’, a machine condition monitoring solution that is powered by AI to enable the detection of machine failures in advance.

Dr Peter Moar

Dr Moar is a Senior Lecturer and Entrepreneur in Residence in the Department of Engineering at La Trobe University. He has 20 years experience in international technology consulting from establishing global start up companies that provide a follow the sun solution to streamlining global fortune 500 companies operations to bring complex products from design to mass manufacture. He lived for five years in Munich Germany as an engineer, manager, and researcher in the manufacturing sectors of telecommunications, automotive, and aerospace.

Prof Matt Barnett

Matthew’s academic career spans more than 20 years, building on 10 years’ experience as a metallurgist with BHP Steel. He joined Deakin University in 1999 and has led a number of projects on light metals. Professor Barnett is currently director of the ARC mineAlloy Training Centre and director of the Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM) at Deakin University.

Andrew Jones

Co-founder of award-winning Design Thinking and Innovation Training Firm, G2 Innovation. Originally an industrial designer, Andrew’s approach to innovation is user-led and battle-hardened through practical experience.

He is passionate about supporting individuals, teams and enterprises to innovate and grow using Design Thinking as their framework and has designed and delivered innovation training programs for global brands including Ford, Bayer, Scholl, Delaware North and Boeing as well as a diverse range of SMEs, government bodies and start-ups.
